Warning you – I’m starting this post with a rant. Here it comes…I think fashion “rules” are stupid. Some of the most exciting outfits I’ve ever seen are the result of people wearing “fashion don’ts” or things that theoretically shouldn’t be worn together, even worn period. When someone take a questionable item, pairs it so well that the look couldn’t be anything but chic, and then confidently rocks the look…I think that’s true style. And while my own personal style is pretty minimal and I definitely wouldn’t consider myself a ~groundbreaking~ risk taker, I do like to engage in some fashion don’ts from time to time. My favourite being no white after Labour Day (exhibit A above).

So, rant pretty much over. ALLS I’M SAYIN IS…if you like something…wear it. Because A.) You will probably feel really good in it B.) You might even start a new trend c.) Blending in is boring. Remember when Birkenstocks were considered ugly? When wearing black and blue together was practically a crime? Yeah.
